Golden Gate Yacht Club1 Yacht Road, San Francisco

The Golden Gate Yacht Club was founded in 1939, when members built the first clubhouse on a barge located in the San Francisco Marina.  Fifty years later, the Loma Prieta Quake severely damaged the Golden Gate Yacht Club (GGYC), but through the hard work and dedication of our members, the Club rose again to become the showcase facility that now exists.  Today, the GGYC is a popular cruise and regatta venue on the San Francisco waterfront, with a dynamic organization of members dedicated to boating fun — both sail and power.  With its picturesque location on San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Yacht Club is the premiere site for your meeting or banquet. Two rooms are available and each can be set up to fit your organization’s individual needs.
